What we collect

Sorawi Respo does not require an account. The URL you submit is sent to our server briefly so it can be fetched and rendered for the preview; the resulting preview loads in your browser. Your selected device sizes, visibility, arrangement and recent checks are stored locally in your browser so they can be restored. Share links encode those same settings inside the link itself.

Screenshots and previews

Websites are rendered inside sandboxed iframes loaded through a same-origin proxy that strips framing restrictions. Screenshots are generated in your browser from the already-loaded preview — no third-party rendering service is involved, and only the public URL ever leaves your browser for the preview itself. When a site cannot be embedded (for example behind an interactive bot check), Sorawi Respo shows a clear fallback state with a link to open the website directly.

Security

Previews run with a restrictive iframe sandbox (scripts only, no top-level navigation), all traffic is served over HTTPS, and Sorawi Respo never modifies, stores or republishes the site you preview. Exported images are generated in your browser and downloaded directly to your device.

Cookies, analytics and ads

We use browser storage only for functional preferences such as your device layout and recent checks. When enabled in the site configuration, Google Analytics collects aggregate usage data (standard Google Analytics identifiers) and Google AdSense may display ads on the page; both are governed by Google's own privacy terms and can be blocked with an ad blocker or browser settings. You can clear site data at any time in your browser.

Data we never collect

• No account, email address or password — the tool works anonymously.
• No payment details; Sorawi Respo is free and has no checkout.
• No content from behind a login: previews only load publicly reachable pages.
• No server-side storage of your history or exported images.

Local storage details

Four functional keys are written to your own browser: your device dimensions and aspect ratios, the recent checked URLs, and the device drag offsets and overlap order of your stage arrangement. This data never leaves your device, is not synchronised to any server, and disappears when you clear site data.

Third-party processors

Sorawi Respo itself does not pass your data to rendering services. The only third-party processors are Google Analytics and Google AdSense when enabled, which operate under their own privacy terms. Your URL is fetched by our own server purely to relay the page for previewing.

Retention

Rendered screenshots are transient: they are held in memory for the current export and are not archived. Exported files exist only on your device. Recent-check history stays in your browser until you press Clear or wipe site data.

Your rights

Because no personal data is stored on our side, there is nothing for us to export or erase on request. You remain in full control: clearing your browser storage removes every trace of your usage. If you believe a preview exposed content that should not be public, contact us and we will investigate.

Children's privacy

Sorawi Respo is a developer and designer tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

As new capture engines or export formats are added, this page is updated to describe them. Material changes are reflected in the last-updated note at the top.
