What is Sorawi Respo?

Sorawi Respo is a free responsive website preview tool. You enter a URL and it displays that website inside desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile device mockups on one canvas, which you can rearrange, capture and export.

How does responsive website testing work?

Each device frame renders the same page at its own viewport width, so you can see how the layout, navigation and typography change between a wide desktop screen and a narrow phone screen without resizing your browser repeatedly.

Do I still need a viewport resizer?

A viewport resizer shrinks your own browser window one width at a time, so you check sizes sequentially and never see two breakpoints side by side. Sorawi Respo shows desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile together on one canvas you can rearrange and export. See how it compares to a viewport resizer

Which devices can I preview?

Four device categories are supported: desktop monitor, laptop, tablet and mobile. Together they include 34 presets — from Studio Display and MacBook Pro to iPad Pro and iPhone 13 mini — plus editable custom width and height values from 240 to 4096 px. Tablet and mobile frames can be rotated between portrait and landscape.

Can I reposition the devices?

Yes. Drag a device from its screen area to move it anywhere on the stage. Devices can overlap, the layering order updates as you drag, and a reset button restores the default arrangement.

Can I export my responsive preview?

Yes. The current stage composition can be exported as PNG, JPG, SVG, WebP or PDF, downloaded as a single file. You can include or remove the device frames and choose a transparent, white or checkered background.

Why can't some websites be displayed?

Previews load through a relay that bypasses embedding blocks, so most sites that refuse to be framed still render. A website can only be blocked when it runs an interactive security check (bot protection), is unreachable, or responds too slowly. In those cases Sorawi Respo shows a clear 'preview unavailable' state with a link to open the website directly.

Can I preview local development sites?

No. For security, the preview relay blocks private and loopback hosts, so localhost addresses and LAN devices cannot be rendered. Test sites that are reachable from the public internet instead.

Does Sorawi Respo modify my website?

No. It only previews the URL you submit. Nothing is changed, stored or published on the original website, and no account is required to use the tool.

Can I share a preview with someone?

Yes. The share button copies a link that recreates the same URL, device sizes and which devices are visible, so anyone who opens it sees the same responsive view without needing an account.

Can I hide the device frames in exports?

Yes. When capturing, switch off the device frame toggle and the export contains the bare website screens on the chosen background — useful for decks and reports.

What export backgrounds are available?

Three: transparent, white and checkered. Transparent works for PNG, WebP and SVG; JPG and PDF fall back to white since they don't support transparency. Checkered is baked into every format.

Is my device layout saved?

Your custom sizes and visibility settings persist in your browser between visits, and your recent checks are kept in a history list you can clear at any time.

Does Sorawi Respo work offline?

No. Rendering the live preview of a URL requires an internet connection, both to reach the website and to load the preview relay.

Is Sorawi Respo really free?

Yes. The tool is free to use, requires no signup, and runs entirely in your browser.
